Howdy Computer Forum!

I have a simple question about GPU stock fans.

:confused:Q1:Will graphics cards such as this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ..._re=XFX_Radeon_HD_5870-_-14-150-496-_-Product
Couldn't find the (XFX Radeon HD 5870 1GB 2xDVI 1xDisplay Port 1xHDMI GDDR5) with the same fan and all.

-> overheat with the stock fan on (normal/regular use with no over clocking)?
Or are they made so that I don't have to worry about toasting the GPU/Graphics card without buying an extra VGA-cooler?

Thanks in advance

If you are leaving your gpu at stock speeds it will be just fine. Aftermarket coolers are used for cooling down the temps after an overclock or replacing a stock fan that is too loud.

you should be able to oc that and still be fine temp wise with that cooler. only when you start overvolting/overclocking like crazy where the fan needs to be 100% all the time should you maybe consider a different cooler. but for now, you'll be good to go.
