Hey guys I built my first gaming PC

I'm having a bit of a problem with my keyboard

there is a Keyboard lag when i Play games

I told a button and it keeps going for like .5-1 seconds

I play GunZ ONline. which requires extreme precision and timing so it's really frustrating.
The keyboard worked fine with my other computers.
And When I type. THere is no problem. (In game or Out of game)
Seems like it's only in GAME Play..

I have 4 GB or ram. if it has anything to do with it.. so i don't see what the problem is..

I had a thought.. I have xp 64 -bit and i heard it doesn't come with all of the drivers.. :(
maybe that's the problem.. maybe a keyboard driver?

Help Please
Thanks

Are you sure it's keyboard lag? What kinda ping do you usually have? It could be a networking/inernet problem... what type of internet connection do you have/what speed? How is it setup (do you have a home network, or do you have a modem plugged directly to the computer? how are all your network hardware/computers connected?)

64 bit XP? Good luck with that....a friend of mine had nothing but problems with it. All kinds of driver issues and stuff not working right. He had to install 32 bit Xp and everything ran fine after that.

I would have installed Vista before I would touch 64 bit XP.

GAHHH

>.> I might have to get another OS then god... what a waste of money..

And No.. I have perfect internet connection.. I usually have 40-50 Ping when I play games.
So I know it's not internet lag that's causing my keyboard problem.

It's Wired too..
Saitek Eclipse o.o

If you guys don't really have a , "Get this driver, It will fix it" answer

Then i'll just get another OS .... woohooo! what a waste of money

If you're getting an OS for gaming, get Vista Home Premium. Get 64-bit as you have 4GBs of RAM - 64bit versions of Vista are a lot better driversupportwise than XP 64, so you don't have to worry about that. You may want to check whether all the games will work on Vista or not, though.

Guhhh

Okay.. I'm trying to get an OS CD from a friend or something.. I don't feel like spending another 100-200$ on another.

Maybe Windows XP Pro.. or Vista 64

If i were to download it from torrent sites, Would I HAVE to burn it onto a CD and run it by CD Rom?

Or can i use Daemons Tool or something.. ?

Plz help.
