I have XP 64 bit installed on my rig right now and have been having some compatibility issues. Luckily I have a 32 bit vista home basic UPGRADE disc I want to use, and was wondering if I will have any issues going from 64 to 32 bit. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know what to expect before I jump right in?

I'm not 100% sure, but I have a feeling it will not let you upgrade from a 64 bit OS to a 32 bit OS, that may require a clean install.

Yeah I'd have to agree with Omega. They use two different structures basically. What program are you having troubles with?

Yes, you will have issues. This will require a re-install of Windows XP 32bit in order to upgrade to the Vista 32bit system. You cannot upgrade via the Windows installer from a 64bit version to a 32bit version and vice versa.
