XP Boot Problem

ok i have 120gb hard drive and i split it to 2, 1 with 140gb and 1 with 6gb so i can install vista see what it was like.

so i thought na dont want to see i put in the xp disk to delete the partition but its still there just say UNPARTITION so now i cant access my main drive again the 140gb 1 with xp on it can anybody help me? im trying to access the command prompt so i can delete the partition

wha?! so you have a 120gb drive with 2 partitions of 140gb and 6gb, giving you 146gb in total?

I think you might need to repeat the question as it doesnt make a lot of sense to me.

lol sorry i ment to 114gb

when i put in xp disk and i press enter then f8 then enter to see what partition to put it on

i see
Unpartitioned
Unpartitioned
C: Partitioned 114gb

and when i go to restart it say please insert a bootable disk
for some reason its made 1 of the Unpartitioned drives the Main drive But i want to delete the top 2 so how do i do that

ok i got ride of the partition i want by floppy dell pack from college but now i still cant get the partition to get recognised it says when i go to fdisk then display par it say partition 1 not C or D just 1 and it is active can anybody help me please
