i have a laptop with a intel mobile integrated high-def audio sound card in it and it recently crashed and i formatted the hard drive and reloaded everything onto it... i went to the website and got all the correct drivers needed and still no sound. when i log on there is a little box that states "sound control cannot be used" and when everything is loaded i click on master volume or the speaker in the corner of the screen and it says there is no sound card installed... i have not removed anything from this computer and i was wondering how to locate and reinstall this card...

thanks

Give me a list of unknown devices or items that still need drivers installed. Since you have high definition audio, do you have an item in system devices labeled "microsoft uaa bus driver for high definition audio"?
