XP home activation

I bought a comp, upgraded HD and other hardware, installed windows xp home again, and now my activation key does not work? i don't want to buy xp for 100 bucks, what do i do?

Yup, just call Microsoft, they'll just ask you a few questions.

just tell them you got a new HDD and upgraded your chip and they will just give you a new code
