tryin to install XP on Dell latitude CSx with no bootable drives. Can I use 2.5 to 3.5 HD adaptor and install from my desktop , or is there any other way ?
Please Help Thanks.

ok my laptop dont have a cd-rom drive or any other bootable drives and I have my OS on a cd. How can I install that OS to the laptop? Will I be able to take out the HD from the laptop and put it on my desktop and install the OS onto the HD for the laptop? Thanks.

i dont think so because the mobo is diffrent so it would just throw errors cant you borrow an external cd drive and try that

If you are still in school, try asking your comp tech department in lending you their external USB enclosure. All you need to do is hook it up to an internal CD/DVD Drive and connect it to the USB. :D
