a few days ago i installed Ubuntu, because I was tired of Vista and its mistakes ... but enough about it. But I changed my mind for Ubuntu and so would I install my Windows XP, and not my Vista. So I inserted my XP installation CD. restarted the computer, pressed ENTER to run it directly from the CD - and everything seems to run fine. But - since it is satisfied with formating the partition and copying files, it will restart, and its also saying that it will continue the installation after the restart. But it does not. After the restart, it will start the installation from scratch (I come to the exact same page, where you can hit ENTER to install XP on new, etc., etc.)
so I try to write a new master boot record in the recovery console, and then run the installation again - but no change.
when i run the installation CD when i've started Ubuntu, the installation goes into a standstill and cannot run....
whats going on?
any help please?
(sorry my bad english)
