i installed windows xp media center edition, and in windows there is no option in the start menu for the media center. there is an option in windows components which shows the likes of the windows dancer and party applicatino are installed. Also windows doesnt have the theme that comes with mce it just has the standard xp theme. Anyone know whats wrong?

I had most likely the same problem before..
that problem comes from the second installition CD .. in my case CD2 had some corrupted or missing files..
or ..
accidently you pressed ESC or just canceled when windows Asked to insert CD2.. happened with my friend
hope it's the same problem..
