XP Memory leaks

Anyone know how to remedy these? XP Home seems to be 200X worse with memory leaks than XP Pro.

I'm mainly having problems with winlogon.exe using up too much memory, and my computer isn't dointg ANYTHING.

Also the BIGGEST leak i can see is "svchost.exe" It seems to be my sound as when i stop the process i can no longer listen/hear any sound. I get errors saying my codecs or drivers can't be loaded until i reboot and the service is started again. It's PID = 840 on my system.

With my system just idling i usually use in excess of 200MB PF usage which i can't jsutify. i have barely 13GB of stuff on my HDD's (thats including OS) and only 1 game.

Anyone know how to troubleshoot memory leaks in XP? Or know of a program that can help me solve my problems?

Practically nothing loads when I boot up my computer. And i've disabled everything i can service wise in XP Home to keep my computer game worthy and functional with my home network. But it's alot better now, I can stay ~200MB PF Usage.

It sounds like you've got SPAM-WARE. Run your AV, and SPYWARE removal programs.
Also try disabling REMOTE DESKTOP ASSISTANCE, which is banging out/receiving crap.

nah, that's not the problem. i've posted a hi-kack this log and it's 100% clean, i run spybot and adaware, and i use AVG on top of those 2. remote desktop is disabled simply cuz' i don't use it lol. its definetly jsut an OS "feature" or w/e that i am not happy with, but it seems to be the norm.
