XP Network

I am trying to setup a wireless network between two computers.

Both computers are connected to the internet and running xp.

Ive setup the network sharing wizard and enable file sharing on both computers.

I have enabled file sharing on the file in question but when i try to map a network drive it doesnt see the computer.

I can ping the computer using the ip address or name.

Still cant connect please help.

Oh i have symnatec firewall but if i can ping the computer it sint affecting it ...right?

I CANNOT stand norton. It blocks every network I try to run. Even the ones I tell it allow. Try disabling it then see. Also I'm assuming you've run the network setup wizard putting them both on the same work group correct?

Yes they are on the same group, il double check them and im going to remove the firewall see i that cures it.
