xfx 750i mb
2 gigs ram
2 nvidia 9500gt cards
e7500 2.93 ghz wolfdale oc'd to 3.51ghz

Windows XP usually doesn't have native drivers for sound and lan. You will need to go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers for them. Is this a custom built pc or a store bought machine? Would need make and model of pc or model of motherboard if custom built to lead you to the correct drivers.

chipset driver?

anyway its a xfx 750i board....
e7500 cpu...wait specs r in my signture. a

anyway....yes its a built pc....its oc'd and worried to mess with bios if i had too. or u think i just need drivers for sound and lan.

my other computer reformatted with lan and sound np...but its a p4 about 5 yrs old.

whats difference in loading on this other computer? xfx board isnt that new where xp wasnt around.

txs all...

It all depends on the hardware itself. You will have to go to xfx website to download the drivers for the chipset, lan and audio.

All operating systems needs drivers in order to communicate with the hardware that is installed on them. Its just that windows 7 has more current drivers already built into it than XP did.
