XP or Vista!

I have a laptop that is running Vista. this is the config.
AMD TURION DUAL-CORE 2.00 GHZ
3.00 GB RAM
160 gb HD

Im going to graphic school and Im running the CS3 pack on my pc. It made my pc kinda slow, If I downgrade to xp will it make a difference? What are the cons of downgrading to xp?

Id recommend trying windows 7 X64....you can still get your hands on the RC release if you do a bit of searching.

If not then it would probably run better on Xp,Although you will want to check on the laptop brands website to make sure you can get all the drivers.
