XP PC Making Weird Noises

If your keeping it on the floor I would consider blowing it out. Might be the fans mostly or and powersupply and vents on the tower plugged up.
Should be done anyway or at least once a year.
 
i didn't buy it,its my grandparent's pc.. shared, nuff said.(got rid of acer)

Where is the noise coming from? Open the side of the case and find the noise and let us know.
 
Cpu fan? Need more info then just around the ram sticks. What kind of noise is it? Can you record it and post it on a file sharing site and give us the link?
