Hi, I have been asked to take a video from a harddrive and put it on to DVD.
the harddrive is a maxtor DiamondMax 16 160 GB ATA/133 HDD, it has come from a cctv unit. i have installed the software but inside the instruction manual it says not compatible with sp2, and guess what it isnt. I need to get sp1 on my computer and i dont have an xp disk with sp1 on and i dont know anyone that does i have downloaded the service pack but it wont let me install it over sp2 is there anyway i can install it?

Any help would be much appreciated

Sam

I think you need to contact the software manufacturers about this. SP2 is above SP1, and I don't see why you'd need to downgrade to use their software... Plus I don't think it's possible to do so unless you reload your machine with an SP1 version of XP or you've upgraded previously and have the uninstall files on your machine.

you can uninstall service pack 2 by going to cantrol panal and selecting add and remove file down till you see service pack 2 and remove it
