IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER, DON'T REPLY!
I really don't need to know that "you don't think it can be done", or "I might find the answer somewhere on google", and last but not least I don't need to know I can update to SP2 (I think that if I create such topic it's quite obvious it's not the issue). So please stay on topic.
If you know about the registry then you should know what to do if you can't find that value.Go to: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows"
And change "CSDVersion" from the SP1 value (0x00000100) to SP2 value (0x00000200)
You are joking right? The file name has nothing to do with it.Download SP1, rename it to SP2 and install it
Yes, the file name has nothing to do with the install. So the file name is just plain irellevant? Bummer
Are you implying that I am wrong in saying that changing the name has nothing to do with the install? Yes I've installed programs with their original downloaded file name and then again at a later point when I rename them. But I bet you haven't tried it.
