XP Taskbar Has The Jitters

For about 50% of the time that the computer is running, the task bar is normal. For the other 50% of the time, it stretches to almost three times its normal vertical dimension and "vibrates" or "oscillates" . I don't have the proper word for what it's doing, and maybe a screenshot might capture the phenomenon. In any event, through the blur that can further describe the jittery taskbar, I can sometimes manage to make use of its functionality, albeit with difficulty.

What kind of a problem is this?

Are you saying that the taskbar increases and decreases it's Y (vertical) size so fast that you can't even use it at all?

You said that the taskbar vibrates.Could you somehow give us more information?Such as what OS you are using,are you using any skins and what service pack (if any)...

If you use skins,they can cause these kind of problems sometimes.

If possible,try to provide us the screenshot.

He is using Windows XP. You may want to backup all your valued files to a separate storage device and try a System Restore to before this problem started.
