Before i start im new to this forum.
Ok here is my situation.
My model laptop Compaq Presario CQ60 – 214TX came with Windows vista 32bit. After about 2 to 4 months of having enough of vista I decided ok windows XP you need to be on my machine.
I have tried normal install but when I install it loads all drivers then Sais windows is starting.
Then
STOP: 0x00000078 (0XF78D2524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
After reading ALOT of forums I understand that SATA is not readable by XP without drivers. That’s when you can use the f6 button but I don’t have a floppy disc area on laptop. So I looked at these forums and lots of them suggest Nlite to slipstream the SATA driver that I HOPE is my version into the installation. But no success. I have made up to 5 XP slipstreamed CDs and they all FAIL so my last try is Forums. My model of laptop also stupidly has no sata disable option in bios. So if anyone has an idea of what DRIVER I need if I haven’t got the right one please post. Also maybe this is the problem. When I make the Nlite CD an error pops up during finalisation in adding the new drivers. So if anyone can help me please please I want to have xp.
I currently am running windows 7 pro 64bit but still want XP.
