I saw this stated in another thread but I did not want to hikack another users thread so I am making my own
. Anyway, I have an Asus G1 laptop that came preinstalled with Vista Home Premium. I must say that Vista is nice to look at but that is about as far as the pro's go for me. I have noticed performance decreases in certain programs as of lately and am thinking its due to the OS. If I change I would go back to XP Home, buy an OEM copy and do a fresh reinstallation. Do you think that would help my performance issues?
Like I said above, the eye candy is bout all I like from Vista. I am leaning on buying an OEM copy of XP Home and going that route. Do you guys think that XP will make that much of a difference performance wise? Or should I stick with Vista? I think if I had XP installed my system would run alot better than it does now. Also I would be able to do simple things alot easier while on XP because I know it better than Vista. What do you guys think, XP or Vista?
My specs of my computer are listed below:
Core2Duo T7200 2.00 GHz(
15.4' screen
2GB DDR 667 RAM
100GB Hard drive
Nvidia Geforce Go 7700 512
