XPS Problems?

I just bought an XPS, and my friend also has one. She ran into some problems in the start up and I can't fix it for her. Anyone else have problems with the XPS laptop? Just Looking For HELP!!!!

I found the problem!!!! My friend let me take her computer apart on account that I fixed the problem. While I was searching around, I found that the hard drive was corroded(not sure if that is spelled right) and it smelled like coffee. The drive was fried and Microsoft is sending her a new computer!

I sent a complaint and the hard drive to Microsoft Industries.

What affiliation does microsoft have with Dell...is it like a parent company or somethin?

Lol!!!! Sooooo sorry! I meant to say Dell! I was just kinda mixed up these past few days... Sooo Sorry!

You opened it and there still replacing it??? I thought it voided the warranty if you opened your laptop. LoL??

No not necessarily... This was a mistake in the people who put the computers together and distribute them.
