When I write an email the letters keep getting bigger each line . How can I stop it and make sure its on 12 all the time.

using Mozila,

I put size 12 and few words later it changes to 14 then few more words and it goes to 18

This is a bug in new Firefox versions such as version 15 and even version 16.So what is happening to you is that the inline spellchecker does not correctly traverse text nodes.

Try this simple solution first:

There is a Firefox add-on called "No-Squint".Disable it and the problem should go away.If not then try to completely remove that add-on.

If not then try this:

Try reseting the page zoom by going to VIEW > ZOOM > RESET
Or you can just press CTRL + 0
Where 0 is number ZERO.

If that also did not help then try this:

Turn off ANY ZOOM features in Firefox AND Windows.

If that did not work either then try this:

Try resseting all the Firefox settings back to the DEFAULT VALUES.

Actually it's version 24.

But yes, if you're not using the latest version, I suggest updating to the latest version.

Nah I am still using Firefox 5.0.1 and as long as it opens everything properly I am not updating it.Same applies for all my other software and OS.

Thank you S.T.A.R.S. your idea about zoom function let me to "VIEW"
then "zoom text only" which was on. I closed it and all is well.
