Long story:

My XFX 4850 was faulty from the start. at first it was just minor artifcts, then proceeding to get worse and worse. I requested an RMA and had it sent off to their address. Now, i didn't know it because they didn't tell me, but they were moving location. This caused my RMA to be delayed by a whopping 3 months. I sent the card on the 12th of january, it is now the 13th of april.

After having the card sent back to me, i sent it to the new address last week, and as you can see they have recieved it and diagnosed it as faulty within a week.

I would rate XFX 3/5 stars this time around. I do have an XFX 5770 and i will make sure that if i need an RMA again, that they are not moving location any time soon!

Discuss your experience with XFX RMA's, or RMA's in general.
 
Sell it for $180/$190 on Ebay. Use the money towards my computer that I'll be getting in June. Hey, it's not like I need a 750w anyway. I'm sure any good quality 450w will be fine.
 
Really had pretty good luck with everybody with RMAs.

Execpt DFI, RMAed a motherboard, took almost 2 months to get it back. Then sent me the same piece of crap back that I sent them. Claimed it was fixed, it wasnt. Use to be a good company, LP was killer boards. Has gone down hill the last few years. Would not doubt they go the way of Abit/Soyo/Epox in the future.
 
I had a good experience with XFX. My fan/heatsink on my 8600gt was making weird noises so I opened a support ticket. 2 days later I was chatting with someone and giving them the info about it. He said he had to check the parts department for a spare. Next day he shipped one out. The cooler did not look new at all though and the fins were bent from the crappy packing. But, atleast they made an attempt to help me which, is much better than other company's.
