yet another x64/x86 topic

hello!
I've got vista 32-bit (as u can see) and i bought this ver because xp said sth like this on msinfo32:
System Type X86-based PC
but can i install a 64-bit version?
it'll be advisable for me to do this? do not include the new buy in your advice, please

Yes, you can install a 64 bit OS with the Athlon 64 processor.

only if you plan to use more than 4gb or want to upgrade to 4gb and want your os to see all 4gb of it.
