Do you think that the following system is decent value? I may buy it, as my current system is decrepit, and I need it to be able to play games such as Rome:Total War and Doom 3.
Anyway...

Intel Pentium 3.2 GHz 'Prescott' Processor
1 GB PC3200 RAM
160 GB Maxtor 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Hard Disk
ATI RADEON 9800 Pro Graphics Card
Videologic ZXR-200 2.1 Speaker System
Creative Soundblaster 5.1 Digital Sound Card
8X DVD-RW Dual Format
10/100 Ethernat LAN
Windows XP Home
Microsoft Works 7
17" CRT Monitor

For £954.
I would also like to know what type of RAM PC3200 is (DDR, SDRAM, etc)

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

it's a 128 MB Graph card i think. Should i get a bigger one or will that be able to play those kinds of games?

in euors that is €1,421.53.

well...a 128 should be alright for a while, doom 3 will probably be a bit jerky on high resolution, but it runs fine on my computer at high resolution.

my specs are:

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ processor
PC Chips SIS-M848A motherboard
XFX Nvidia GeForce FX 5700 256MB
512MB DDR RAM
160GB Hitachi 7200rpm IDE Hard Drive
30GB IBM DTLA 6000rpm IDE Hard Drive
Sound Blaster 5.1
Lite-On 12x DVD-R/RW
Yamaha 8x CD-R/RW

i mean my computer is slower than the one i n question, so...with that kind of RAM and Proccesor power u should be fine! :)
