I am planning of buying this

to add to a gaming pc. but the PC's processor is a Celeron 2.8ghz and 512mb ddr2.

will games actually run ?.

I know that gaming sometimes also includes to have a powerful cpu but is the celeron worth it ?

The CPU is Ok, would be better to get Core 2 but if you want to use that it should be fine, I can play BF2 and FEAR on high on my CPU and yours is better so...

The RAM is the only thing that I would change, I'd get another 512 at least.

The card is ok. Not super good, Not bad. It seems to be a middish range card, it should be good enough for gaming, depending on what you want to play. I'd try to get a better card, if you have the money to put into it. The Celeron PC's aren't that good. The speed's ok, but P4's/ Pentium D's and Core 2 Duo's are a hell of a lot better. Also another 512 MB of ram would help your gaming as well.. If you got the money, upgrade your vid card, followed by processor, followed by ram.

I would get at least 512mb more ram if your gonna be gaming.

The 6200 isnt a bad card...plays battlefield 2 on medium on my friends pc.

men I'm tight right now..cant buy anything. but i can afford this graphic card. Im a bit worry though about the celeron..I've had bad experience with them in the past.also here is my mobo

i dont plan on heavy gaming but simple games will do. So is it ok ?

Well, it depends on what your budget is, then we can give you some options.
