Youtube videos don't work unless I reboot

Hello,

I have a Dell desktop I5 processor, running Windows 8.1 It's about 6 months old. When I try to watch a Youtube video, it doesn't work correctly if I've been running the computer for a while. I have to reboot, then the Youtube videos work fine. Until I reboot, I get "jumpy" video and audio.

I previously had an HP I7 processor running Windows 7, and I never had any such problems with Youtube videos.

Any easy solution?

Thanks,
Louis

I don't have any Malware, but I don't know whether I have the latest version of Flashplayer.

But why would my not having the latest version of Flashplayer cause the Youtube videos to work fine after I reboot?

How do you know you don't have malware? What programs have you ra n? What Web browser are you using?

The 'jumpy video' is either a network bandwidth issue or CPU issue. Without rebooting, use ctrl alt del to view the resource monitor when you're playing a video that is jumpy. Take a screen shot and load it on this forum via photobucket.
