Hey does anybody know an easy way to download YouTube video's to your computer as an AVI file other then Vixy.net??? because that's not working right now and it's always screwy anyway. Thanks

ahh....that makes since but wouldn't the owner have to mention something about the video being copyrighted or are they automatically copyrighted when they're uploaded?

Once uploaded, they're automatically the property of YouTube. And yes, YouTube does not allow you to download, you can only stream the vids.

I know it's mad and sounds dumb, but that's just the way it is...

Users may view videos on the site as long as they agree to the terms of service; downloading through one's own means or copying of the videos is not permitted.

Cause what if someone uploaded an episode of a TV show or something against YouTube Rules, and downloaded it, it would be the same as torrenting, right?

media-convert.com is always handy, convert most files like text, movie, pictures and audio.
