z-680 Satellites with my 2300 Sub?

The satellites on my Z-2300 are totally crapped out from two years of abuse, but the sub is still fine. I can get two brand new Z-680 satellites for $20. I know the Z-680 has post connectors and I need my own RCA cabling, that's fine. My question is will they sound OK? I know they're bigger speakers than the Z-2300's, but that should only limit the volume, right? Also, I was hoping that with the 3" drivers my mid range would gain some presence.

I'm sure it'll be fine. It's all logitech so it'll be safe to assume the impedance's are the same. It'll no doubt be fine.

You might gain a bit of mid, but probably not. TBH if you want to enjoy the mids you need a very good pair of speakers, no budget set (or much under a grand) are gonna do. Bass and treble sounds easy, and most records are geared for it anyway now, so meh!
