z97i MSI power issues

I just made my Wife's mini tower and went to boot it up and check everything and ...nothing. So of course i went to trouble shoot. I went through the front panel power button plugs and in the manual and everywhere the plug it connects to is called "JFP1" the one thats on the MB says "JSPI1" but there is NO JFP1 anywhere on the MB and in the illustrations I have searched in the manual and everywhere its suppose to plug into JFP1. With that being said I tried to switch the plugs around maybe +/- was wrong on the ones that did not have the "+/-" symbols. I did that with the secondary power source unplugged and I got some action. I realized it was not plugged in to see if that's why its not fully booting up and.... NOTHING. Completely dead. Soo, unplugged the fans and lights come on for about 1 full second and it turns off. ANY suggestions? I'm pretty frustrated. Here is a link to the MB. The plug for the front panel is 2 below the one that is labeled "USB" and the power is right below that.

what do you mean by "all" bent? like a few squashed and crushed or like how the board comes? when it arrives its seperated in halves with one half the pins facing one way and another half facing another. they are bent they dont face straight up.

if it arrived with damage ie the pins snapped off or all facing in different directions then i would send the board back but as it comes new with a socket cover i find this unlikely.

this is what it should look like: http://www.buildcomputers.net/images/intel-lga-2011-socket.jpg

this is not: http://cdn.overclock.net/f/f0/f027358f_IMG_0022.jpeg
