I am most likely going to purchase this, I am not satisfied with the temps I have been getting with the stock cooling on my x1900xtx. Any other suggestions for vga coolers is welcome, unless this is the best bang for the buck. Not looking at water cooling.

Na this looks pretty good for the price. Zalman products are usually very good and reliable

Just make sure you have enough room to mount that on your card, it's not small. You probably need 2 free slots below your video card for it to be able to suck in enough air. Other than that, it should perform better then the stock cooler.

But even without a lot of room, I'd expect that huge heatsink to do better than the stock cooler. The fins aren't placed too closely either.

I need 2 slots now so I should be fine, x1900xtx's are ginormous...

I just bought it, however, I got the one without LED's.

I just installed it and am going to run some games ot see the temp differences.

38c idle and 52 under load for temps, i think thats a considerable improvement...

That sounds good. Wish my card was good enough to warrant extra cooling.
