ZIP files problem

hi everyone
i'd like to know if a zip file can be extracted successfully by winzip (without help of repair programs), then does it mean that the zip file　(or the file zipped) MUST be good and complete?
because i have some zip files, i don't know if they are downloaded completely or not.

if there not downloaded completely then with unzipping you will usually get a error but not always,then you try what you downloaded out and see if it works,you can also compare the size of the zip to where you got it from will list the size.

the problem is - no size stated in the website

and I am using Google Chrome to download, which shows no signal about incompletion of download.
