About to buy a new PC. Need help!

A friend of mine offered to purchase the pieces and build the PC himself. Here's what he dug up for (apparently) good prices.

What do you all think? Good? Bad?

Actually, I am on a tighter budget than $1,300... but HONESTLY, do you think it's a good price for $1,300? I mean, I'm gonna have to squeeze my piggy bank really.

You can of course always save money here and there...but you will sacrifice performance with that saved money. Here is an example of saving a few bucks

Your friend is actually trying to put parts that you will ever barely use, like a that mobo, you don't need a 300$ box mobo just to get good performance plus i'd rather get a cheap 150 ish mobo and upgrade the processor to a quad
