I always get 60+ fps while playing on the highest settings, and my load times are almost instant. The load times is due to my quad core I think for the most part. I was reading that this game has multi core support, so that definitely helps. I love out cities load in literally about 10 seconds, and bam I am in the city that looks awesome!

frames per second. how smooth the game appears to run. higher performance PC = higher FPS and an overall more satisfying experience

Frames per second. Usually anything above 30-40 is good, that's about as fast as we can see. Or at least, we can't notice a change in fps above 30-40.

They have already pretty much explained it but I will just add to what the others have said. FPS = frames per a second as already described, and I am averaging 60 FPS on the highest settings means I am running at maximum resolution with the maximum settings for textures, particle effects, polygons, motion blur, anti aliasing, etc. It means that it is the best it can possibly look. The game itself does look pretty amazing and doesn't eat up resources like Crysis.

I cold tweak the game and probably pull off over 75FPS if I was so inclined to, but it is running perfect for me now.

I just wish I could customize the cross hair.

Yea with my rig it is set to max settings with 4x AA enabled on a 22inch widescreen, amazing graphics, amazing voice acting, amazing game period! I need screen shots...

Download Fraps. It's a program that displays your framerate over your game.

Just bought it today! Mines on Ps3 though because my computer is a hunk o junk at the moment. I'm loving it. I just got into the school, and I can't say I have any idea whats going on, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it

Just played through the main quest, thankfully I have a lot of saves so I can choose a different path throughout the game, so I can get different endings.

I got it! Amazingly it runs on my pc with low to med settings; a very well coded game since my computer is over two years old. I must hand it to Bethesda they make some great games; I rank them up there with Valve. This game rocks!

I am excited I think I am close to the end but will most likely play through again as a squeaky clean guy as opposed to my cannibalistic non-virtuous villain I am now.

Yeah I finished it over the weekend as the champion, the good guy. Now I am making a new character with the intentions of being as evil as I possibly can.

Then will patiently wait for the mods and character editors to come out and have even more fun.

I had to shoot two people in megaton because i stole food from a fridge, and i had no choice... they tried to kill me!

Well hopefully, they weren't important because no one found out. i don't think.

Just beat the game yesterday. Main quest was a lot shorter than I expected. Kinda sucks but oh well, only hinders the game a little bit.
