Is it a rather hard surface like seen with KDS lcds or a soft vinyl typical of most others? The typical wipes sold in any office suppliy store like Staples are antistatic wipes. They tend to dry out fast and seem a little abrasive after a period of time however.
For tv screens and other consumer electronics where they become dust magnets one alternative solution is simply wiping them down with the typical antistatic wipes you toss in with your clothes in a dryer when doing your laundry. Those are a bit softer and are not moist where there is any worry about becoming dried up.
I believe my screen is of the soft vinyl type. I know that if you press on it hard enough, it makes a little ripple effect. Of course, I know better than to press on the screen hard enough because it can tear the screen up. I came across the ripple effect once by accident when touching the screen after I first got it.
Flents wipe'Nclear. Anti-fog/anti-static. Good for glasses, computers, face shields, and goggles.
I saw a box of a couple hunred of these wipes and bought the. I only use them on my tv and comp monitors, but they work great. They seem like they are just coffee filter material soaked lightly with rubbing alcohol.
