Ok, here is the problems I have been having. First of two out of the four usb ports I have from the motherboard don't work. 1 of those two make my motherboard scream bloody murder when you plug in a USB. My computer has been steadily getting slower and slower. When I put in the 2 gigs after having 1 gig of RAM I noticed the computer to load images and such a bit faster... For a week. Then it went back to being slow. I don't know if it is the motherboard or processor. As far as I know neither sufferred any damage or jolting of the case. So maybe they are just getting old. Four years is still young in my oppinion but maybe I just got a bad board/processor. Which could it be and how can I tell?
Another issue is that I can't push more than two buttons on my mouse AND keyboard at any one time. This makes gaming very hard. Any ideas why this is? Logitech is the makers of both and didn't help. Is this a motherboard issue as well?
Also, I put in a new hard drive a couple months ago and ever since the computer takes about 30 seconds to a minute of just sitting there just before loading windows as a black screen. I know it is the hard drive because I put back my old one and everything was fine for loading. New one just doesn't load windows right away. Why not?
Lastly. I want to upgrade. This current set up with the information provided above plays WoW at around 20-29 fps pending on where I am. In battle, however, it dips to around 10-15 fps. I want to run at 60 fps during battles as a minimum. What do I need to upgrade in order to reach this? Assuming I don't need to replace damaged parts and the issues above are "all in my head." Is it the graphics card, processor, or motherboard that needs to be swapped for something newer? Or any combination of the above? And would I have to upgrade my power supply? Here are those specs: Hmmm. Actually I can't find out what my current supply is. That program I installed, anyone know how I can determin the power usage to guestimate if I need to upgrade? PS I wont' be doing any other gaming other than WoW on this box so nothing higher than this preference is required.
