Crap...upon second look, he's right. I didn't notice that it's offset to one
side in the diagram, so it looked like a PCI-E x16.

I'm literally installing the OS in it right now for a friend of mine at work.
Skip the 939 upgrade because you'll just have problems finding components.

You have a Socket 939 cpu. Obsolete.
Finding an X2 cpu for a 939 socket may be difficult.
Plus, that one poster was right, you have a PCI-E
graphics slot. Hard to find cards for that also.
Just throwing the option out if you were able to spend
a little for a new system.

The DDR 400 RAM will work, the Graphics Card and AM2 Processor won't.
Your Motherboard has a Socket 939 CPU Socket and will only fit Socket 939 CPU's.
The CPU you listed is a Socket AM2, which is the next generation socket after 939.
Also, if you notice the diagram, it's a PCI-E x1, which is the same size as the regular PCI slots (which I didn't notice) so you'd have to find a Graphics card that fits in a PCI slot basically.
PCI-Express x16 is a much longer slot.

I am sorry but i think i am incoorect, take alook at the slot. It is clearly to big for a pcie x1 slot. It is a pcie x16 slot. The graph is misleading because it shows that the pcie slot by showing "PCIEX1" which most probable mean there's only one pci slot, because if you look at the picture it is clearly pcie x16. Please post a picture of your motherboard, or, verify that it is pcie x16 by typing in "pcie x16 vs pcie x1" in google images. Tell us what it looks like. It actually looks like a pcie x8 after i took another look. funny story.... My computer has been running really slow lately, for the last month or 2. Well I opened my computer up last night and was looking around and saw that 1 of my RAMs was not set properly in the slot. Der.... So I have been running on half a GB of RAM.
The diagram matches mine. the notch is towards the left hand side of the slot.
So as it stands right now I will get the 4GB of RAM and the Video card.
I think those 2 upgrades will drastically up grade my system.
Would it be worth it to upgrade the mobo?

How much money are you willing to spend? When you get it jut give it a tiny amount more voltage and turn cas to 4. Its only 25$! This upgrade is around $290. But if money isn't that big of an option plz tell me.
