How many ghz?

well the cores run at 2.8.

total of 8.4, but this is not the same as havin 1 core at 8.4.

All depends on the program u r usin, most still use only 1 core, which would leave the other 2 doin nothin.

Yeah thats true. Anyways i asked this question because my friend told me that one core could be 2.8 and another could be 1.2, that true?

Yeah but is one core less powerfull then the other?

Of course it would be if you have one core clocked at 1.2ghz and one at 2.8ghz. Thats not what the program is really used for. If your going for a max overclock, some cores will clock better than others. That way you can keep, say the slower cores at like 3.5ghz and clock the better cores higher.

I dont use the Overdrive software, I overclock through the bios.

nice 2 expand my knowledge, but i personally prefer 2 OC in the bios.

I agree, using the bios is more stable. Overdrive works pretty good but I have heard it is buggie on some boards. I would just use the bios to overclock, dont think the small amount of more overclock on one core or the other would make much difference.

Like having three cores at 3.6 and and one at 3.8 you could probably never tell the difference. I would rather have them all running at the same ghz.
