doesnt matter, the gtx285 was £80 more so what would you do?

I know that, 160 is still quite cheap for a 1200W.
Actually they overclock like beasts, and the cooler is pretty silent due to them being larger slower(but higher cfm) fans.

the thing is ill be water cooling it anyway, i had an asus 4850 and it used to overheat like mad and didnt have the build quality of the other gainward 4850
there was like 15c difference in temps sometimes higher!
im happy with my choice, i paid a little more than i would for the asus but i dont have to overclock the gpu to get it to the settings its at now!

Yeah it is, considering most quality 1000W units are in the range of $200-$300.

i bought an antec for my brother for his birthday, 3 months ago. Antec 1000watt for $179 on newegg.

The 1kw Antec quadro is more like an 850W power supply, combined amperage on the +12v rails is the same as an 850W corsair.
True, 1000W and above 250 bucks is a pretty good deal. Corsair 1000HX and alot of Silverstones hit in that price range. If you jump over to PC Power & Cooling the price jumps up to between 500 and 600 bucks. If I was going to jump up to 1000W or above I would probably go with a Silverstone, pretty much for the price and quality.

well overclockersuk suck big time....
i paid £25 for delivery on sat, no gpu arrived-i ring up and ask what the problem is and they say
"our website has not been updated and unfortunatly the gpu you chosen has sold out" (this has happend the last 3 times i ordered)
on there website it says theres 5 in stock???
anway, i have the £15 refunded plus i have ordered the xfx radeon 4890 which is £20 cheaper and they say its got a better chip in it for overclcoking

im gutted
me wanted to play with my new gpu NOOOOOOOOOOOW

do you notice the room between the gpu's?
how are you supposed to cool them when there is a 5mm gap?

Dont realy see the point in them adding that last 9800GT as a dedicated physx card though.

the dedictaed physx cards are supposed to make a difference, but i think the tri sli of the gtx285's would be enough
