+1The 5850 of course! Newer technology, better performance, DX11, Less heat than 4xxx series and around the same price.
You wonder why i was shocked someone put a GTX275 super clocked edition which is $20 more then the 5850 into your build![]()
what he said. Or you could go to newegg.ca and save a ton of money...
For 1478.92 + shipping, - $60 mail-in-rebates, which comes to about $1450, you get everything on your list except the PSU (I got you a corsair 750W), hard drive (Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB instead) and the case (Thermaltake V9). Here is the list:
Hard drive
GTX 275 Superclocked
Corsair 750
OCZ Gold 6GB DDR3 1600
Asus Mobo
Core i7 920
Zalman 120mm cooler
Thermaltake V9
And of course you can shop around, I don't know, your PSU may be cheaper then the one I grabbed, then you save there. Smaller hard drive is hardly worth it, maybe $10. Enjoy![]()
No Elimin8or said it in his other thread
Why has this even come up? Its just like comparing an 3800+ Athlon to the Core i7 Haha
That's not even close to a good analogy. The GTX 275 is not as outdated as a 3800+ would be in comparison to an i7.
More like Core 2 Quad to an i7 920. The GTX 275 is a decent card.
Sorry for not being more precise Mr Politicaly correct
I was just giving a point.
