I agree that a good impression isn't being given, however I do think that if you look at the threads that have been posted in by the new members involved in this "argument" (notably, the people from OCN), there have been quite a few arguments been started in them, thanks to them trying to be know-it-alls and get one up on everyone else.
Now I don't mean to offend here or anything, but I can see myself easily doing so, but I am not surprised it has happened, because of the people that are posting. What I mean is look at the join date of them and look at the post count. they are the kind of people that are a part of the internet and an integral part at that, but they are the people on the internet that have...the internet and that is all. If they can't look good on the internet, they have nothing, so naturally they have to pull some kind of card out of their arse to play it so they don't look like jackasses, but in turn, look like jackasses because they don't know when to shut up and give up.
You look at the OCN regulars and a hell of alot of them are these people, you look at the CF regulars and they aren't, they are more laid back and prefer to discuss and explain, rather than give a "you're wrong, I am right, end of" approach, and I know that it just about certainly isn't how it was intended to come over, and I am almost certain that a CF regular or 2 will disagree with me here, but imho, it is how you have come over.
and when a mod comes in here, regarding
I would imagine they will look at your (oh look, another) smart arse ansewr and strike you down, because it doesn't literally mean "your" site, as in you own the site, you pay for it etc etc, it means a site that you are involved in. You can't go posting links directly to other computer forums, which is what you have been doing. You may like to think that you are cleverer than the mods, but you aint, because they have a big ban button, and if they say black is white, it is, they say their crap doesn't stink, it doesn't
