GPU Budget 70-100$ (max $140)

Ive been looking for something comparable to the 4890

would this fit? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131327&cm_re=5770-_-14-131-327-_-Product

It also comes with dirt2.. like a 20$ game?

is this a deal or what?

Yeah that would fit,Any Pci-e card will fit :)

Its a good deal, the 5770 isnt as powerfull as the 4890 though remember that,so its up to you...spend a bit more and get a better high end DX10 card (4890) OR spend a little less and get a lower end DX11 card (5770).

but that doesnt mean the 5770 is weak.....your call :)

sounds like I wait for zip to restock.... FUTURE-PROOF is a +

the 4890 is oc'ed already?? Won't able to push it more in the future?

Umm.. does the 4890 require 2 6pin power inputs? (sounds like I would need an adapter)

theres 3 versions of the 4890 from what i hear..the standard 4890...the XT and the XXX version....so depends on which one you get!

It requires 2x 6 pin connectors....and you say you want future proof,Nothing computer related is ever future proof :D

True about the future proof.. I just want it to last a while... I would like double warranty.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150438&Tpk=xfx 4890

Heard the complaints on the XfX..
When are they due to be fixed?

the 4890 is pretty much just an overclocked 4870, however, it also has an extra few million transistors on it, so it can get the higher clocks AND have room for more overclocking :)

I wouldn't worry about the XFX thing tbh, just because one guy had a problem and couldn't even explain how it is worse other than it looks different, doesn't mean the entire brand is now crap. They still make awesome cards that will last ages, and if they don't that is what warranty is there for ;)

now this card(4670) is not the greatest but if you wanted to save some money, this one is only $84.99 and it will play any lower game you want, i max out cod4, A.v.A online, combat arms, i can play gta iv, and max out rainbow six vegas 2...

i think its worth the price

this?

pretty good choice. wouldn't have been mine but, hey, if everyone chose the same thing then many jobs would be lost...

looks good!
Thanks

Nice choice, man :good:
thanks

Explain why?

I liked the zipzoomfly card... but they are out of stock.. + 2-3 year warranty..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think i would be holding to this card (xfx 4890) for some years... Hence the reason i would want lifetime warranty.. I play low end games.. I think I will be okay for at least 5 years with those :)

Thanks to all that have contributed so much on this Card hunt.. Ive been really odd with my budget (just wanted to get bang for buck). Hope you guys
didn't get frustrated more than me... it's just the memory, clock, stream proccessors, type of memory ddr,1,2,3,4,5 and the bits are really confusing...:confused::confused:

But Like I have said... I made my mind up...

Speak now or forever hold you're peace.
