Out of those options, the 5770 is the best, in terms of features and performance, especially with the Catalyst 10.3 drivers.
-Radeon HD 5770 .. But don't expect to run 1080p games maxed out.. nor 720p maxed out. Sure, it's the best of those you have listed. But it's not a "great" card.. Expect to play new games in medium to low settings..

Take a look at this. The 5770 might be a bit better than you think.
I understand that this card is not the best of the best, but I think it deserves a bit more credit. After all if the 4850 has lower performance than the 5770, and my 4850 can max out cod waw, mw2, fallout 3 and Bioshock 1 & 2 at 1920x1080 while keeping around 60fps. I would assume that the 5770 would be able to attain the same or at least close in either direction.
I know that those are not the newest games but none of those cards will blow through any of the newest games...
Yea, you're right. it's a decent card with DX11.. Will do good on lower ress and in the games you mentioned.. But, i really want to be honest to him because i dont want to see another person being disappointed
Well, maybe you should tell your main intentions with a new card? Budget?
