no that ram i linked should be fine. if the motherboard can go up to 2200, it should be able to handle 1600. i just linked that ram because of the tighter timings with the same speed at the same price.

i am pretty sure. checking the reviews of that board there are a bunch of people who say they are using 1600 ram. you'll be good to go :good:

The highest "official" memory level right now is 1333, but 1600 is common in parts-built rigs. What those specs are saying is that it can use the standard 1333/1066/800, and can also use faster-than-standard RAM up to 2200.
