Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum, but I really need help. What happens is that my computer turns on, (screen says no video input), stays on for a little bit, then restarts and stays on, but still no video input on screen.
Edit: Also, all the fans and lights are on and working fine, so I assume it isn't the Power Supply
Specs:
Motherboard - Asus Rampage II Gene
CPU - Intel Core i-7 930 LGA1366 2.8 GHz
Power Supply - OCZ ModXStream Pro 700Watt
RAM - OCZ 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666 Platinum Low-Voltage Triple Channel (OCZ3P1333LV6GK)
Video Card - Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X Overclock edition
I don't think it is the Ram because I took out the Ram and it still behaved the same way.
I also don't think it is the video card because I switched it with my other comp's vid card (Sapphire Radeon X1950) which still works on the other computer, it behaved the same.
I tried removing everything and putting it all back together but there was no change.
I am assuming that it is a Faulty Motherboard or a Faulty CPU, does any1 else think that?
NB: I bought everything today, so everything is brand new right out of the box.
Thanks to anyone who responds or helps out
