Need Help with Computer Please =(

you need connectors at the yellow circles and one in your video card
 
alright lets start at the beginning. you have your motherboard out. you have your psu out. you have your cpu in, your fan/heatsink on it(tightly?? is the fan spinning??) your ram is in (just have 1 stick in closest to the cpu) don't connect harddrives. put in gpu. then plugged in all the psu cables......and your monitor....what happens?

oh and make sure you are on something anti static like. didnt the motherboard come in a bag??

I'm sitting on wood is tht ok?, my mother board is on the anti static bag that the video card came in.

Alrite, so yes to everything. What happens to my monitor is that it says "no video input", then it says "going to sleep" then it shuts off. My computer periodically restarts itself. While it is on, all the fans are running fine and all the lights are on.
 
No. I meant do all of that. Take it all apart. Definitely reseat the processor. If you are using thermal paste wipe of the old then apply a single pea sized dot in the center of the cpu. If you aren't using any...then you should be. Then do the rest of the stuff. No drives.

Is there an onboard video connector?

Aii, I see a 4 pin plug near the CPU and I plugged in the corresponding wire coming from the Power Supply. (under the plug it says "EATX12V")

I have an 8 pin wire coming out of the power supply, but I do not see any place to plug it into the motherboard :S. Do you know where this is located?

NB: I am using the Asus Rampage III GENE mATX (not the "Extreme")

^ I found out (from the manual) that the GENE has a four pin plug not an 8 pin plug, so my answer would be, yes I did plug that in. :)

If you look at the newegg link you posted there is a cover over the last 4 pins of the 8 pin connector. Remove it and use the 8 pin cpu power connector from the power supply and see if that makes a difference.
