How to stop my southbridge dying again..

Im of the mind to get as many monitors always on my computer so nothing can take me by surprise and suddenly break.
I have a program to monitor my harddrive
I have a program to monitor my graphics card temperature
and I have core center that monitors cpu temp, system temp? cpu fan speed, and nb(northbridge?) fan speed.

Is core center enough? Thanks.

I was hoping the system temp indicator would help me know if the southbridge was burning out..I've no idea. Is there any way to pre-empt :(

If your southbridge fails, you have a faulty motherboard. Knowing what temperature its at isn't going to help you.
