How to stop my southbridge dying again..

Im of the mind to get as many monitors always on my computer so nothing can take me by surprise and suddenly break.
I have a program to monitor my harddrive
I have a program to monitor my graphics card temperature
and I have core center that monitors cpu temp, system temp? cpu fan speed, and nb(northbridge?) fan speed.

Is core center enough? Thanks.

Whats any of that got to do with your Southbridge? Dont think I have ever had a Southbridge go out.

I was hoping the system temp indicator would help me know if the southbridge was burning out..I've no idea. Is there any way to pre-empt

If your southbridge fails, you have a faulty motherboard. Knowing what temperature its at isn't going to help you.
