Well, it may be a little premature, but there are signs that not only is a GTX580 in the works, but also in existence, and not a million miles away from hitting the shelves. So far all we have to go off though is what is potentially a typo on the Nvidia website, and supposed benchmarks from a few Chinese websites.
From the "benchmarks" though, we are looking at a serious card that massively outperforms a GTX480. However, it is still yet to be seen whether it will be as the first fermi cards were, and require it's own power station to run, and produce the same amount of heat as said power station:

And we also have "pictures" of the card, from the very same Chinese site that first claimed the benches. The size of the card pictured is similar in size to the 480, however, it has a different cooling solution, at least the fan is different, it is larger the GTX580 than on the 480.
