Are you sure the power switch is hooked up right? Those things are easy to hook up backwards.
I know this seems like a know brainer but don't forget to plug the PSU into the wall. I don't see a cord on the back side of the computer.
Did you plug in the power connectors for the GPU?
About the 4/8 pin connector, it could be just an extra cable and you may not need to use it.
How much ram do you have installed? It looks like you have all the slots filled. I thought you only had 2 sticks. No problems here, just curious.
That's a molex...there's one that goes to the fan controller on top. It powers your fans, obviously.
Just a thought; That case has amazing cable management. Why not use it?

There should be a couple different 3 pin connections on the mobo that are labeled something like cpu fan, sys_fan, pwr fan.
Are you still not able to get it to power up?
