Hi,
Just a quick question, I recently invested in a 21 inch Samsung 1080p HDTV. I'm planning on using the TV as a monitor for my Dell Studio 1737 laptop (Win 7 Home, 4gb RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.40GHz, ATI Mobility Radeon HD) through it's HDMI port.
I set everything up and it works a treat, the TV is set as the main display output (with the laptop lid closed alongside), my question is: is it sustainable? Clearly the laptop wouldn't have a HDMI socket is it wasn't intended for use, but my concern is for the long run.
Maybe I'm worrying to much but it's expensive kit and I want it to last as long as possible.
